Let me start by saying I had certain expectations after getting several quotes from companies to do my windows. We had 18 windows replaced by Castle Windows this last week. Aside from replacing all of the double hung windows, they replaced our front bay with a triple, double hung window (so we had all of our porch back), they also replaced the window above the sink with a huge garden window. They came on Monday morning at 9:30 with two crews. They spread out like ants, some taking out the old windows, some prepping the new windows. They had most of the double hungs finished by lunch time. By 3pm they were starting the opening for the new window and expanding the hole up front for the triple window. By 5:30, they had finished, caulked and cleaned up.
The little things count… Things like, they reused moulding where they could, so I don’t have to paint them. They added sills to the two new windows that didn’t have them so they’d match. This wasn’t specified in the contract, but they did it anyway so the windows would match.
All in all, I would recommend castle windows to anyone who needs window work done. The company has been fantastic.
